The ambience is good One reception stuff talk too fast not kind enough Room is close to beach and pool Wifi..only for 2 devices for a room is a bad point Food..Italian restaurant was not good Japanese restaurant was good Morning buffet was very good Inside shop are really good stuff is nice cool air conditioned inside. Overall very good experience!!!

Breakfast was well. Staff was really nice.

Room size is ok but facilities were not up to the level like no mobile charging point with beds and no small sofa in the room. Washbasin tape was loose and giving sound. Beds of the room were very loose and giving sound.

We were blown away by the location and the beauty of the resort. It had all you need either as a family or for a romantic trip with your other half. We stayed in the adults only wing which was quiet and comfortable and loved the facilities including the many restaurants and activities available. The included buffet breakfast was amazing with plenty of options each morning. The staff were great and we will definitely be staying there again. Thank you!

There wasn't a whole lot to do when the sky opened up and the rain didn't stop for a few days as it is mainly set up for good weather (understandably). Would have been great if there were more sheltered options for sitting outside though during poor weather. Thank you.

The friendliness of the staff, the resort was clean, the scenery is pretty and the water was amazing.

The rooms were not very clean and some days they were tidied up only at 4 or 5 pm. The restaurants in the resort are pricey for the food quality offered. We ended up going outside the resort for lunch and dinner. Within a short drive you can find local options and amazing seafood for half the price. There was lack of organization for things such as takeaway breakfast. Called reception which said a form must've filled in, then they redirected us to the kitchen and then we were told we didn't have to book any take away breakfast but just show up earlier before 7 am to eat earlier, and that they could've given us aluminium foil to wrap up the food. Many times we had to wait for plates, cutlery or cups to be replaced, or food. Also I suggest you to book your own transfers and tours, if done through the hotel you'll end up spending a lot of money. Some of the things can be considered "minor" but guests should know not to expect a 5 star service.

The staff overall were very friendly, however for a supposed 5 star resort you’d expect that. Sadly that’s about it.

THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT, do not be fooled by their website and pictures this is not a true reflection. For the cost (nothing is cheap) we expected way way more. The room was bang average, breakfast poor and lunch expensive and abysmal. The bad weather can’t be blamed on the hotel but when it rains the roof floods, when it’s sunny there’s no where near enough sun beds and there’s only so many times you can accept ‘Fiji time’ as an excuse for poor service. We left very very disappointed and will never be returning, if you are looking for paradise, it most certainly isn’t here. Don’t waste your money, it felt more like a prison than paradise, we were dreaming for home long before our trip finished.

This is not a 5 star hotel, Before arriving I read some reviews about the mould and emailed the hotel to ensure were were given a good room. They assured me we would. We check into a room full of mould in the bathroom, floor seemed dirty and I booked 2 Queen beds, got a double and a single. We were moved to another room which faced the kids pool, great for access but very noisy. Still not a 5 start room. We would have checked out had we not been so far away! food- worst food I have had on holiday in years, I send back two meals, one at the Italian and the other at the Japanese. The Italian Restaurant is great once you figure out what not to order. I asked for the seared Tuna at the Japanese, out comes two big chunks of tuna (i asked for medium it came out rare) on a pile of luke warm mashed potato, which is weird for a Japanese restaurant. Rice would have been a better option. It was taken off my bill. The buffet was great for the first couple of days but then it just got boring as they didn't change up any single thing the entire 7 days we were there. Any other food I had at the sunset bar was tasteless and over priced. Front office service- unanswered emails, general lack of care, lots of complaining guests, I lost my car key on my trip and have emailed the hotel twice with no response. Drinks- if you are going to charge 5 star prices for food and drink make sure you can make a cocktail!! Happy hour- what a joke! 3 for one, all have to be the same drink and ordered all at once stop being cheap and make it 2 for 1 like every other 5 star hotel in the world. Kids pool- dangerous bit of the pool were falling off, water is cloudy and unappealing, music is either blaring or non existent, not enough lounge chairs for the amount of people Staff- some staff were great, but the majority didn't seem to enjoy their jobs and weren't very good - slow. I was disappointed with the lack of Fijian friendliness I have experienced elsewhere.

The hotel and grounds are impressive and very clean. The groundsmen do an excellent job. The Wicked Walu restaurant was good - very nice food. The vast majority of hotel staff were very friendly. The selection of breakfast food was good. The beach was very clean and there was no rubbish in the water. Snorkelling was great at high tide. There was a good range of fish and the coral further out was ok. Water temperature was perfect.

Service when ordering food was slow - Fijian time. The Salt pool side bistro wasn't very good. Our party experienced long waiting times after ordering and received a steak that was raw in the middle (not ordered that way), an over cooked chicken breast in a chicken burger, a cold laksa soup (you would think that a pot was already made and kept hot but it appeared that it may have been dished up and left a while before serving). I ordered a garlic bread that was revolting. It didn't taste or smell of garlic and appeared to be covered in lard. At breakfast there were too many items note labelled - yogurts? etc, and we too often had to search for spoons and bowls that weren't restocked. We all noted that the lady selling ice cream wasn't friendly.

Grumpy staff at club lounge, ice cream shop and activities desk. All other staff were fabulous but these three areas stood out as the staff were so awful.

The beddings were not up to expectation , there were mosquito and other insects in the room . Had to ask for insect spray.

The facility over all should be better because $542.00 a night is not cheap.

Everything especially the staff, they were all happy and friendly,Bula. The place itself was Beautiful.

It was only the weather, but weather should not be critisized, we Always found something interesting to do.

This resort is simply stunning!!! With five restaurants and seven bars the food was exquisite, damn you Warwick I put on 3.7kg in a week! This was a luxury holiday for us that we saved hard for so although expensive it was budgeted for (hotel very good at emailing menus and drinks lists so you can plan in advance) and got a good deal as we booked a year in advance. The kids club was great, plenty to do. Snorkling and kayaking right off the beach, entertainment every night. Staff went out of their way to make chips for our kids when we missed the kids buffet on one occasion. Always plenty of towels in the room, extra beds at no extra cost and HUGE continental breakfast brought to our room at 4am on our day of leaving for our early flight...included in the room rate. Great pools; main pool, adults only, baby and cold bubbly spa. Marica in the Sazanami restaurant was lovely!

Just some minor niggles...Hubby noticed room was a bit dusty. I noticed a slight damp smell. Room was right by the pool on ground floor and there is sand in the grass outside so room floor was always sandy, maybe a door mat would help. Ran out of beach towels often but we had our own. Made to order omelettes at breakfast runny in the middle but I really liked that they offered this. Not much in the area but that's the Coral Coast for ya, go stay in Denarau if you want happeningness!
